Song Back-story:
I was up late one night trying out a new Yamaha CP-80 Stage Grand Piano and composed a ballad to showcase its beautiful sound.
My friend, Lār Couso, came by the studio. He was despondent. The courts had just removed his young daughter from him, as they felt that an "artist and musician" would not be a suitable parent.
I pressed record on the tape player, and the rest is history.
Lār made up the lyrics right then and there.
It was truly from the heart.
